WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Due to a water leak, water will be shut off from Labbe St. to the end of Catahoula Hwy. going towards Loreauville Hwy. at 2:30 p.m., to make repairs.

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. — Due to a water leak, water will be shut off from Labbe St. to the end of Catahoula Hwy. going towards Loreauville Hwy. at 2:30 p.m., to make repairs.

Repairs are expected to take approximately one hour.

A boil water advisory will be in place for all areas affected until samples are cleared.
