WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

LAFAYETTE, LA - Festival International de Louisiane has leaked a second musical act for their 2022 return. Afro-Cuban funk sensation Cimafunk will be taking over downtown this April, bringing along 8 accompanying musicians for an electrifying live show.

Cimafunk’s groove has conquered and captivated audiences from Havana and New York to Madrid and Paris, gaining massive international success. Rolling Stone recently included Cimafunk’s album, El Alimento, in the 50 BEST ALBUMS OF 2021!
