Family and friends say final goodbyes to Tiger Bech, victim of New Orleans terror attack

Family, friends, and loved ones gathered on Monday, January 7, to remember one of two people with Lafayette ties killed in the New Year’s Day terror attack in New Orleans. Tiger Bech, 27, was a 2015 graduate of St. Thomas More, where he was an all-star athlete and went on to play football at Princeton. He was laid to rest late at St. John Cemetery after an overflow funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Cathedral in downtown Lafayette.
