One Arrested Another Wanted For Unauthorized Entry of a Place of Business

SCOTT, LA - The Scott Police were called out to a business located in the 100 block of Pecan Grove around 10:20pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022.The business owners observed 2 suspects enter their vehicle storage yard walking around,looking underneath vehicles.

When police arrived, the suspects fled on foot. Officers were able to apprehend 29-year-old Coderick Livings of Lafayette. During their investigation, officers learned that the second person involved was 51 year old Calvin James Prejean of Lafayette. Prejean was seen leaving the area in an older model, silver Chevrolet pick up truck with no license plate on W. Willow heading towards University Ave.

Scott Police arrested Livings and booked him into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on charges of Unauthorized Entry of a Place of Business. An arrest warrant has been issued for Prejean for the same charge.
