YOUNGSVILLE, La. (NEWS 15) — Voters in Youngsville will head to the polls on December 7 for a runoff election to decide who will be the city's new police chief.
Interim Police Chief Cody Louviere is getting the backing of a former opponent in his upcoming runoff against JP Broussard.
Matt Thomassee, who finished third in the November primary, has endorsed Louviere.
Louviere and Broussard are running to fill out the remaining term of former embattled Chief Rickey Boudreaux.
