...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM CST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Tickets are now on sale for Cité des Arts’ next production, Things My Mother

Taught Me, by Katherine DiSavino, and directed by James E. Nicholson. The show will open on Friday, May 10, but in a slight departure from our norm, our Gala will be a brunch themed event to celebrate mothers on Sunday, May 12.

The show will run May 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday May 12 and 19 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for the Mother’s Day event are $35 and all other tickets are $25 and available at www.citedesarts.org. Things My Mother Taught Me is the second show of Cite des Arts’ 2024 theater season. For further information or questions contact danny@citedesarts.org.
