WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Detective James Bergeron of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office returns to Crime Stoppers and needs your help in solving a murder in the city of Eunice.

EUNICE, La. (KADN) — Detective James Bergeron of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office returns to Crime Stoppers and needs your help in solving a murder in the city of Eunice.

On April 8, 2024, deputies with the SLPSO were dispatched to 513 LA 757 in the Eunice area for a reported shooting.

Inside the doorway, deputies found Roy "Tray" Guillory, Jr., 19, shot to death.
