Lafayette, LA – Acadiana nonprofits can make the most of SOLA Giving Day. Registration for the seventh annual SOLA Giving Day event being held on May 2 is open to any nonprofit, church, or school that would like to participate. The nonprofit registration webinar will be hosted on February 6, at 10 a.m. to provide an overview of event details, new technologies, nonprofit toolkits and step-by-step instructions on how to register your nonprofit, church or school for the big event. Sign up is available at https://www.solagivingday.org/info/trainings. SOLA Giving Day is an event of Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) offered to 501(c)3 nonprofits, churches, and schools in South Louisiana. It is a spring fundraising campaign that spans four weeks and culminates with 24 hours of giving on Thursday, May 2.Â
The purpose of the event is to assist organizations in raising funds for a specific project or program and provides an easy and inexpensive way for organizations to promote funding needs and continue fundraising efforts online. The goal of SOLA Giving Day is to inspire the community to come together to contribute as many charitable dollars as possible to participating organizations.
