WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Unknown Scott Burglary Suspect

SCOTT, LA - The Scott Police Department is asking the public to assist in the help of identifying a suspect.

The suspect was seen burglarizing a vehicle in the 100 block of Westward Avenue in the city limits of Scott on March 5, 2022.

If anyone has information regarding the identity of the suspect, please contact the Scott Police Department at 337-233-3715.
