LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — The new federal trial date of Jacob de la Paz, a former St. Thomas More High teacher, on child sex charges has been set for May 20.
De la Paz's child porn trial was originally scheduled to happen this week but was delayed after Judge David Joseph, who is overseeing the trial, approved a motion to continue it.
De la Paz is accused of trying to entice an underage former student to send him a sexually-explicit video.
