Crowley police have identified a suspect in the shooting that injured a 5-year-old girl. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding Lindzy Thomas.

CROWLEY, La. (KADN) – Crowley police have identified a suspect in the shooting that injured a 5-year-old girl.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding Linzy Thomas. He is 5’5” and weighs about 247 pounds.

Detectives added he was trying to shoot a rival gang member when the child was hit in the arm.

Police said the little girl was wounded when the men started shooting at each other along West Andrus Drive on Thursday, March 7, around 4:30 p.m.

She was shot while walking home from the bus stop with her father.
