CROWLEY, La. (KADN) – Crowley police have identified a suspect in the shooting that injured a 5-year-old girl.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding Linzy Thomas. He is 5’5” and weighs about 247 pounds.
Detectives added he was trying to shoot a rival gang member when the child was hit in the arm.
CROWLEY, La. (KADN) — Crowley police said they are trying to find the men who fired shots at another man but hit a 5-year-old girl instead. Police said the innocent bystander was rushed to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police said the little girl was wounded when the men started shooting at each other along West Andrus Drive on Thursday, March 7, around 4:30 p.m.
She was shot while walking home from the bus stop with her father.
