...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM CST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Lenny Bruce

OPELOUSAS, La. -  Lenny Bruce,19, of Deridder was indicted for the first degree murder and armed robbery which took place on Valentines Day.

Bruce was taken into custody in reference to the homicide and booked into the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office for the following charges: armed robbery, first degree murder, and illegal carrying of a firearm.

A co-defendant, 19-year-old Jaleel Durrisseau, was indicted last month for his involvement in the crimes.

Corey Rosette Jr. was found dead after being shot in his home on February 14 of this year.
